The 2010 World Cup is still over two and a half years from taking place but preparations for the world wide event are already taking place in South Africa and throughout the football world.
The country is set to build 4 new stadiums while the remaining 6 will undergo major upgrades to accomodated the thousands of fans set to visit the country for the month long tournament.
The qualifications for the World Cup have already started in Asia and South America and with a draw for the European qualifying tournament set to take place this upcoming weekend, the organizers will realize the biggest sporting spectacle in the world is just a short time away.
